Hello- I was told to put my post here b/c you all know your business! I have an old clutch purse that belonged to my grandmother. I don't know where she obtained it, its age, etc... To me it looks like it belongs in the trash, but, another part of me...well, someone might find it interesting. Any help you can give me with identifying it would be greatly appreciated. I would love to include a photo, but am not sure how to go about that in the forum. The clasp has a patent of Jun 25, 1867, it is a deep red (scuffed) leather, the handle is like a velvet rope, it opens on both sides. There are no other markings on it. It measures about 4.5W by 2.25H. Thank you- Diana
