I thought I was pretty knowledgable about Lacoste in its various incarnations. So, I was able to get some older clothes from an estate this weekend. One thing I got was a green nylon (?) pouch-front jacket with the "lacoste" alligator on the upper chest. Brand name? Alligator. Was there ever a time when EXACT alligators would have been allowed on clothing?
